Audi Project

AUDI Advert

Starting Out

The Audi Advert was going on the longest of all the other projects, it was one of the first things I worked on, on my first week in Bolt. I built this test set with all the lights and the background setup. To see what the project would look like.

I was able to be the first test interview that would be set to the Audi client to see if we would get the approval.
There was a bit of time before we heard back from the clients and there was a lot of back and forth figuring out something that could work between us and the client.

During Project

This shoot was in production because Audi wanted to create this video that would go on their website directed at their existing staff as well as others who would be thinking about joining Audi in the future. This campaign was being shot at 7 different locations, and I missed the first two days of filming. The filming started on Wednesday but I was in college that day so the next day I came out on Thursday evening on the train to Waterford

I wasn’t there for the full trip but I was there for Waterford, Finglas, Sandyford, Naas, and finally Cork. For the final day in Cork, the gaffer (lighting expert) Mark wasn’t able to work as he was booked for another job so I filled the role as the gaffer, to make sure I wouldn’t make any mistakes I recorded a video of me talking about the equipment and how I will set it up for the next day, this was really helpful for when Mark wasn’t there and all was set up perfectly fine for the shoot in Cork, Cork dealership job was really handy we only had 2 interviews and then when the day was done we just loaded up the van with all the equipment and headed home.
